April Fool's 2006, also called Save Twilly, was an event in which Twilly mysteriously disappeared from Battleon, having been kidnapped by zombies.

For Guardians, it can be accessed through the April Fools' Portal Painting.

Dialogue[]

«Scene: Battleon. Kabroz is standing at the spot where Twilly usually is at.»

Kabroz: Well well, how NICE to see you here, instead of my brother Zorbak. Say, I bet you are wondering where Twilly is, eh?

  • What did you do to Twilly???


Kabroz: Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news (not really), but your pal Twilly, and his big ears and silly smile, has been Moglin-napped by some zombies. Before you get mad at me, since I am the one who invented zombies and Moglin freaks and whatnot, let me remind you that I don't control them anymore. Not since you people defeated my plan to take over the world...

  • Save Twilly!


Kabroz shows you where the trail begins. You follow the weird, shuffling footprints of zombies for miles to the northwest. And you realize... the zombies must have taken Twilly to Darkovia.

«Scene: Outskirts of Darkovia. A potion bag is available to refill your potions if you have less than 4 on hand.»

«You»: Time to follow the trail and find Twilly! Don't worry little buddy, I'm coming!
«You»: Yuck... the smell of rotting zombie flesh is getting closer. I hope I find Twilly soon.

3 BATTLES: Zombie (9)

The pile of zombies you just defeated dissolves into the earth below.

«You»: What a bunch of easy monsters!! I need to hurry up and find Twilly. Should be easy with monsters like that!

You receive a Full Heal. Continuing on your journey, you come across a grey giftbox nicely wrapped and placed right in your path.

«You»: Hmm.. what could be in that box?? I should take it while I have a chance. (pick up the box)

Clicking on the box gives you Kabroz's Gift. You can touch the bow on this gift box from Kabroz to open it!

«You»: Every step I take, I get closer to Darkovia. It's like inching toward a pit full of poisonous creatures! It's good for experience points, but it will definitely hurt!

3 BATTLES

«You»: Those monsters were a little harder, but still no problem for me!

You receive a Full Heal, followed by two options.

  • Follow the easy-to-see trail made by large creatures
  • Follow the harder-to-see trail

If you take the easy-to-see trail...

1 BATTLE
Level 0-24: Lesser Droag
Level 25-49: Zombie Dragon
Level 50+: Droag
«You»: Hmmm, maybe this wasn't the best idea. Seems like the rotten smell is getting WORSE... if that's even possible!
1 BATTLE
Level 0-24: Rotting Corpse Zombie (14)
Level 25-49: Rotting Corpse Zombie (29)
Level 50+: Rotting Corpse Zombie (49)
  • Ouch! That decision hurt! Follow the other trail - You receive dialogue as though you chose to follow the harder-to-see trail.

If you follow the harder-to-see trail...

«You»: Finally, I'm in Darkovia. Although that's never really a GOOD thing.

You arrive at a cave. However, it's way too small.

«You»: Uh-oh. I can't fit through that cave...

Only someone very small can fit through here... Maybe you have something that can help. Like a gift from Kabroz. Open it, if you dare... Or you can just go.

  • Back to Town


If you instead click on the ribbon on Kabroz's giftbox, a blinding flash of light engulfs the scene. When you recover from the light, you discover... you have shrunk! You are equipped with the Little Me armor at this point, and are not allowed to swap armors for the rest of this quest.

Little «You»: Whoa, what happened? Where am I? I opened that gift box and was teleported!!
Little «You»: Wow, this place sure is scawy!
Little «You»: Wait a--- whaaaaat happened to me!? I'm-- I'm-- WIDDLE!!
Little «You»: Yikes!! This place is weally scawy!!!
Little «You»: Oh no! Something's coming this way!!! And there's nowhere to hide!!!

1 BATTLE: Twilly's Ghost??

Little «You»: I hope that wasn't weally Twilly!! I'd be soooo sad... poor widdle Twilly. All he ever wanted was to heal Adventuwers!

Full Heal

You arrive at a clearing in Darkovia. An eerie fog drifts through the air, and a strange glob of flesh is seen in the background.

Little «You»: This clearing in the middle of Dawkovia is weird! I wonder what that HUGE GWOB of mutant fwesh is doing there??!

After a long pause...

Little «You»: This fog is pwetty spooooky too... even more than the mutant fwesh gwob. I don't think anything else can be spookier EVER!!!

Suddenly, zombie hands sprout from the ground in front of you and attempt to grab anything!

Little «You»: Whaaa! Are those-- zombie hands!!!??!!!??!!!!!

You are presented with two options.

  • Walk over the hands!!
  • Go around them toward the mutant glob!

If you choose 'Walk over the hands!!'...

Little «You»: Maybe I should have gone the other way... Hey! What's that up ahead????
  • Go!

If you go around them toward the mutant glob...

Little «You»: Whew, I got away from those stupid hands!! Now I bet I can twack down Twilly weel fast!!!

Little «You»: Okay, now I know why the big gwob of mutant fwesh is there. Hey! What’s that up ahead????
  • Go!

You arrive in a dungeon.

Little «You»: This is one daaawwwk dungeon!! This MUST be the pwace where they took Twilly!!!

2 BATTLES - See List #1 below.

Kabroz enters the scene.

Little «You»: You!! Give me back my big body or else!!!
Little «You»: Oh, and give me my fwend Twilly back too!
Kabroz: Or else what? Will you cry on me? Heheheeee...
Kabroz: My spell on you will wear off soon, but not before I can pummel you into oblivion!

  • Fight!


1 BATTLE
Level 0-24: Kabroz (25)
Level 25-49: Kabroz (60)
Level 50+: Kabroz (75)

Kabroz: Drat!!! You defeated me! One day I will finally get my revenge-- you just wait and see!!

Kabroz disappears in a puff of black smoke.

«You»: I think the spell has finally worn off! Twilly, where are you?

Twilly enters the scene.

Twilly: Hiyas!! Thanks so much for saving me!
Twilly: I'm going to go around and try to heal up some of these zombies and Moglins. Meanwhile, maybe you would like a reward for helping me?

  • Yes!


Previously, a shop containing Little Me would open at this point. Instead, it has been replaced with the following battle.

1 BATTLE: Treasure

Twilly: Thanks again! I'll see you again soon!

  • Bye Twilly!

You return to Battleon.
