Drakonnan was a Pyromancer whose family was killed by Akriloth's quest for power. He tried taking over the Fire Realm through the power of the Prime Fire Orb, but was stopped and killed.[1] He has a brother, Drakonnas, and a son who is trying to follow in his footsteps.

Background[]

Little is known about Drakonnan, other than he had a family that included his son as well as his brother (Sinister 7 War). He also was once a young Fire mage who held the promise of becoming one of the greatest sorcerers of his kind.[2]
However, following Akriloth's procurement of the Fire Orb, the Dragon went on a rampage that resulted in the death of Drakonnan's family and the destruction of his entire town. Tortured by his loss, he went into hiding and collected all of the shattered Fire Orb's fragments following Akriloth's death at the hands of The Chosen. Drakonnan fashioned each of these fragments into a new fire orb each, which were smaller and less powerful, but allowed him to gain control over the power stored within each new orb.[2]
With the power of hundreds of fire orbs at his disposal, Drakonnan could also change the elemental balance on the world of Lore, usurping the very power of the Fire Lord himself.[2] By gathering a numerous army of Fire monsters and razing Battleonia to the ground, he vowed to burn the world to the ground in revenge.
Great Fire War[]

Upon establishing his fortress at Smoke Mountain (Attack on Drakonnan!), Drakonnan begins his campaign by attacking the small town of Ashenvale. Though adventurers come to the town's rescue and defeat his forces, Ashenvale is very much damaged. (The Rescue of Ashenvale) Afterwards, he sends a small force, led by a dragon, to attack the town of Moonra. However, they are intercepted before they can reach the town, and the dragon is slain just in time.[3] (Preemptive Strike!)
Drakonnan then sends two Fire Dragons to attack Farthwark Wood but Moglins led by Twilly's cousin, Juntaka, defeated the two fire dragons, but not without losing almost 50 acres of forest. (????) He also sends large force to Eastern Hills in order to guard a broad chasm in the ground, where a brood of fabled Plasma Dragons inhabited.[3] As a ruse for Battleon's army of Adventurers and Guardians, he forces the Plasma Dragons to go to the surface and distract his enemies. He then concentrated his efforts on destroying Battleon, where he manages to burn half the town with the assistance of Warlord Varax's leadership. (Battleon Under Attack!) Drakonnan then kidnaps some of Battleon's heroes—including Artix von Krieger, Galanoth, Lady Tomo, Oishii, smbDoll and Sonic—and tries to corrupt them, succeeding with Artix when he turns him into one of his Shadowfire Knights to guard his lair. However, Artix returns to his normal self thanks to the Chosen, and Zorbak opens a hole in the force field surrounding the fortress, which allows them to enter. (Attack on Drakonnan!)
In the throme room, Drakonnan appears before the Chosen and the Moglin necromancer after removing, and destroying, his Fire orbs throughout the fortress. Drakonnan is defeated, and falls to the lava along with his throne. Zorbak, wanting Drakonnan's Throne for himself, "trades" the Prime Fire Orb for it, throwing it down to the fire mage. Drakonnan uses the Orb to transform into "UltraDrakonnan", fighting one last time against the Chosen, but finally dies. The only thing left of him is his helm, which Zorbak keeps because he plans to make it his throne once he takes over the world. (Final Battle!)

Drakonnan laid such devastation upon Battleonia that one of the Eternal Dragon of Time's heads takes the shape of his helm, as one of the greatest threats/monsters Lore has seen during Battleon's decade.
Abilities[]
By harnessing the power of the Prime Fire Orb, Drakonnan managed to gather a sizable army of fire monsters, as well as controlling the hearts of some of Battleon's heroes, such as Artix.

- Drakonnan appears both in DragonFable, where his progression from Konnan to Drakonnan is revealed in an adaptation of the Fire Orb Saga, and AdventureQuest Worlds, wherein he appears as a golem created by the time traveller Iadoa.
