The father of Jack Frost, he has been ruling over the farthest reaches of the north for centuries, waiting for the power of an ancient Prime Ice Orb. After his defeat at Frostval, King Frost seeks his revenge by challenging players during their Random Adventure. He was somehow turned undead by Frigidere, and was sent to delay you while Frigidere continued to amass forces in an attempt to take over the whole of Lore.
Monster Effects[]
- When hit with a Fire-Element attack, there is a chance of him absorbing the attack and becoming stronger.*
- His special attack uses MP and decreases your DEX by 15**. However, if your DEX would fall below 0, you do not lose any DEX and are instead "frozen"***. He then immediately attacks again, which is a Normal attack that restores a total of 10 DEX.†
- His normal attack heals him some MP. Also, it restores 5 DEX drained by the Special attack.††
- When he loses half his HP, he may spend most of his MP to heal himself.
- If he absorbs enough fire†††, then he may perform a Fire attack with extremely high damage and restores a total of 10 DEX&. He then immediately attacks again.
* - King Frost absorbs the fire and becomes more powerful!
** - You feel numb!
*** - You are too numb to move!
† - You have regained some feeling: Unfornunately, it is pain!
†† - You feel less numb!
††† - King Frost absorbs the fire....
& - The fiery blow restores some feeling (Mainly pain)!
