NightReign VS. GraceFang is the fifth quest in the Dracopyre Legacy chain. It was released on January 1, 2009.
Dialogue[]
Nightbane's death has created a vacuum in Darkovia. Even as old enemies unite and seek to unify their land, new enemies arise... Donovan (half-brother to Cenara and Edward [Vampire Slayer "E"], and son of the White Abbess, Lady Evina) orchestrated a war using the Werewolf King's son and several of Safiria and Wolfwing's "loyal" lieutenants. Donovan's audacious plan: Use the blood of Balius and that of his Lieutenants in a ritual to raise himself as a Dracopyre! Yet Cenara has pledged to fight to unify Darkovia, and to take up E's task in a new fashion. However, due to Donovan's actions, she became infected by Nightbane's blood, and nearly perished... Ultimately both siblings arose as new Dracopyres. Their natures could not be any more contradictory. With the ultimate fate of Darkovia hanging in the balance the last thing the region needs is more instability. Yet even as the inevitable clash between brother and sister draws closer odd reports from the No Man's Land make it quite apparent that this is just what the world is going to get.

You can skip this cutscene at any time. In Darkovia, NightReign and GraceFang enter as they engage in a fierce battle. As the fight rages on, GraceFang manages to strike NightReign off the screen
NightReign vs. GraceFang
Donovan, human son of the Dracopyre Nightbane, used the blood of his father in a ritual to raise himself as a Dracopyre called NightReign! Cenara, daughter of Nightbane and Donovan's sister, has pledged to fight to unify Darkovia. However, due to Donovan's actions, she became infected by Nightbane's blood, and nearly perished. With the help of her mother Lady Evina and many Adventurers, she lived, and gained the powers of yet another new dracopyre: GraceFang!

The fight between NightReign and GraceFang continues. GraceFang manages to strike NightReign to the ground and seems to be having the upper hand of the battle.
NightReign transforms back into Donovan and Donovan's minions enter
Donovan: What is it?
Black Werewolf: Reports from the heart of No Man's Land... what we have come to call the "Scar"... We have lost countless soldiers, my Lord.
Vampire: Something threatens our domination...
Donovan: We shall see. Return to the castle and regroup. I will go investigate. Keep the front here so I am not distracted.
Donovan's minions leave. Donovan begins to walk off
GraceFang: Get back here, you coward!!
GraceFang transforms back into Cenara. The scene zooms in on Donovan
Donovan: Coward? Heh. I would dearly like to finish this-- and you-- sister. After I am finished with other business, believe me I will. HOWEVER...
The scene zooms back out
Donovan: My armies report a vast creature moving in the Scar. IT, unlike you, might actually pose a threat to my supremacy.
Donovan transforms into NightReign and takes flight
Cenara: DONOVAAAANNNN!!!!!
Wolfwing and Dewlok enter
Wolfwing: Let him go, my daughter. He's right about one thing: there IS a greater threat.
Cenara: What can be a greater threat than the man who has enslaved the entire countryside and treated its people like livestock?!
Wolfwing: There is something huge moving in the Scar... Something terrible. Many have gone to investigate, but none have returned.
Dewlok: And that is the GOOD news.
Cenara: That is good news? What news could possibly be worse than that?
Dewlok: There have been numerous reports of a man spotted in the Scar as well... A man with a red suit and a cane.
Cenara: What, like... But that's impossible!
Fade to black
The GraceFang-NightReign cycle has ended but all is not well.
