Ryusei Cartwright is a boss monster fought in The Manifestation, after Agent Smith. The player, however, can choose the option "Attempt to reason with Ryuusei" instead of battling him, prompting Cartwright to say the aforementioned quote and proceed to cast the Cold on the Chosen.
Abilities[]
- Cartwright is immune to Paralysis and Freezing.[1] (Pop-up: "Your foe is immune to paralyzing attacks!")
- His Magic attack infects with the Cold. This reduces the player's BTH.[1] (Pop-up: "You feel the Cold sapping your will to fight!" → "Your weapons and spirit are heavy, but you fight on!")
- If it occurs often enough, the player cannot act and their turn is skipped.[1] (Pop-up: "Your soul is chilled to the empty, hollow core!" → "You can't possibly win. What's the point in fighting?")
- His Melee attack heals his HP equal to half the damage dealt.[1]
