The Sinister 7 War is currently a Guardian-only quest closely related to the Devourer Saga.

Dialogue[]

Seven of the strongest and most evil enemies we have ever battled have been brought together by a mysterious boss! The Zardmaster, Drakonnas, Nepto, Calladus the Dragon Master, Jack Frost, Drakonnan II, and Sila the serpent witch have each taken one of the eight prime elemental Orbs. We must attack all of them at the same time!

«Scene: Temple of Hope.»

«You»: What happened here, your Majesty?
Tralin: Diviara! Why are you here? Where is Giliara?
Diviara: My brother is dead, Lizard King. He was slain by one of my Brilhado against my express orders.
«You»: Diviara gave us the last piece of the Creation Orb and helped us in the fight back here. By the way-- What happened here??
Tralin: I was not here when this happened. I was in the city of Deren at the time.
«You»: You left the temple?
Tralin: I had business at court that my son could not address. From the castle window I saw the first signs of smoke at the Temple and I returned here at once.
Tralin: When I arrived here, the 8 prime elemental Orbs were missing. I saw a shadow on the horizon. Somehow, the Devourer's forces learned of this place.
Diviara: This is not The'Galin's doing.
Tralin: What?!
Diviara: His forces are otherwise directed. This event is unrelated to the Devourer's activity. Of this I am quite certain.

Darin enters the room.

Tralin: Darin! Why have you come? Is something wrong at K'eld Ner?
Darin: Indeed, your Majesty. Strange activity was observed near the Moglin settlement, Mogelli. Our messenger found the village had been--destroyed.
Tralin: Did your scouts learn how--?
Darin: Not entirely, though they did hear a rather disturbing discussion...

«Scene: ???»

Calladus: Ah, Drakonnan, I see that you have adapted well to your father's position. His armor fits you well.
Drakonnan: I'm not interested in idle chatter, dragonmaster. Why have we been summoned here??
Zardmaster: I don't think any of us know why...
Sila: Whoever called us here knows--
???: THAT WOULD BE ME.
Drakonnas: So tell us-- Why have you brought us here to Deren, so far from our homes?
???: MY GOAL WILL BECOME APPARENT SOON ENOUGH. IT IS NOTHING LESS THAN--REVENGE!
Drakonnan: Revenge? Why would I need revenge??
???: REVENGE AND POWER. I CAN GIVE YOUR WHAT YOUR FATHER LOST.
Jack Frost: Wait, wait -- why here? None of us have problem with this continent.
Nepto: That may itself be why...
Zardmaster: Few may expect us here!!
???: NOW FOR THE ICING ON OUR CAKE! BEHOLD!!

The orbs fall.

Drakonnan: The Prime orbs! How?!
???: WHEN THE NINE ORB, CREATION ORB WAS COMPLETED, THE GATHERING OF THE ORBS IN THE SINGLE PLACE FINISHED THE PROCESS.
Nepto: What does that mean?
Zardmaster: They offered no resistance.
Drakonnas: Complacency often breeds foolishness.
???: THEY DID NOT GUARD THE TEMPLE WELL. I TOOK WHAT I WANTED AND SET TEMPLE ABLAZE BEFORE BRINGING YOU ALL HERE.
Nepto: Who are you? Exactly?
???: IN TIME... FOR NOW I CONTROL THE ORB OF DARKNESS, WHILE FOR THE ORB OF LIGHT I MADE SPECIAL ARRENGEMENTS.
Sila: I hold the Orb of Light. I shall see that is most appropriately utilized.
Drakonnas: Few can argue your qualifications, though you are a strange choice given your natural affinities.
Drakonnan: So what is your 'special arrangement' with our mysterious benefactor??
Sila: That is my concern. It is one of mutual satisfaction and delight.
???: AS I HAVE ALREADY SAID, ALL SHALL BE REVEALED IN THE FULLNESS OF TIME. FOR NOW, WE WAIT.
Nepto: Wait for what?
???: WE WAIT FOR THAT LITTLE SPY WATCHING US TO RELATE OR MEETING TO THE KING.
Zardmaster: We're being spied on??!!
???: ALL IS AS PLANNED. THESE ORBS WERE GATHERED BY THE HEROS OF BATTLEON. WE CAN BE ASSURED THAT THEY WILL TRY TO RECLAIM THEM.
???: FOR NOW, RAISE YOUR ARMIES, REVENGE WILL SOON BE OURS!

«Scene: ???»

Darin: Figures were seen moving toward an old abandoned Drakel research facility. Record indicate it was once used for natural observation and to conduct geology research.
«You»: May I venture I guess? IT'S A TRAP, PEOPLE.
Diviara: What, pray tell gave you THAT idea?
Tralin: Nonetheless, we must spring this trap. We need the Orbs all in one place. See to it.
«You»: As you will, your Majesty,
Tralin: I shall gather the School of Thought to increase magical defences here. The hostile forces will not again archive upper hand so easily.

«You»: What does that have to do with anything? Don't change the subject!
Drakath: AS MY BONES LAY UNDERNEATH THE SOIL, THE BLOOD OF COUNTLESS FALLEN CONTINUED TO FLOW UPON IT. AND MY BONES BATHED IN THAT BLOOD.
Drakath: ALL OF THOSE BEINGS FROM MANY ARMIES THAT YOU FOUGHT. ALL OF THEIR HATRED AND LOATHING FOR YOU.
«You»: Wait. So you are saying--
Drakath: MY RESTLESS SOUL NEVER LEFT THAT PLACE. NEVER STOPPED SEEKING REVENGE. MY DARKNESS WAS RESURRECTED BY-- YOU.
Drakath: IT IS YOU WHO GAVE ME THE GIFT OF LIFE ANEW. AND IT IS I WHO WILL GIVE YOU THE GIFT OF DEATH TO RETURN THE FAVOR!
Drakath: MY REMAINS WERE SCATTERED IN THE MANY WARS THAT YOU HAVE FOUGHT. IT TOOK A GREAT DEAL OF TIME TO GATHER MYSELF BACK TOGETHER.
Drakath: THE BLOOD OF YOUR DEFEATED ENEMIES ENABLED THAT SLOW GATHERING.
Diviara: That does not explain you being very much alive given *cough* prior arrangements.
Drakath: YES, ALL THAT REMAINED WAS THE RESTORATION OF LIFE. NOT THE PATHETIC UNDEATH THAT I HAD BEEN CURSED WITH BY THE WEARER OF THE MANTLE.
Drakath: YOU AND YOURS HAVE COST ME MUCH.
«You»: Wearer of the mantle?? Who is that?
Drakath: BUT YOU DID THAT, TOO. YOU BROUGHT TOGETHER THE POWERS THAT DRIVE LIFE. ALL OF THE ELEMENTS IN ONE PLACE.
Drakath: AND WHEN YOU RESTORED THE ORB OF CREATION, YOU SEALED YOUR FATE. IT NEEDED NOT TO BE HERE.
Drakath: JUST THE ORB’S RESTORATION WAS ENOUGH TO EFFECT THE CHANNEL OF POWER. YOUR WOULD-BE SALVATION SHALL INSTEAD BE YOUR DOOM.
Drakath: ENOUGH TALK! NOW PREPARE TO DIE.
Diviara: We shall see about that. You know nothing about duality and conflicting elements. But I do.
«You»: Bring it on!!

The fortress is falling down.

Necromancer: Arise. Our spells have stayed your passage from this world.
Drakath: I THOUGHT THAT YOU WANTED THEM TO MOVE FORWARD. WE IMPEDED THAT. SO WHY ARE YOU NOW HELPING ME?
Necromancer: We are not yet done with you. Question not The'Galin's wisdom.
Drakath: WHAT GUARANTEE HAVE I THAT YOUR LORD WILL NOT JUST DESTROY ME HIMSELF?
Necromancer: You have none. He will assuredly do so.
Drakath: WELL THEN, WHY SHOULD I HELP YOU??
Necromancer: Because it is in your nature, dragon.
Drakath: I FEEL A STRANGE COLDNESS... NOT THIS AGAIN.
Necromancer: Yes, this... You desire revenge... It consumes you.
Drakath: ...IT CONSUMES ME...
Necromancer: You are nothing without your fury and revenge, Drakath. You have failed utterly. Allow us to give you the means to serve your greatest cause.
Drakath: YES... YESSSSSSSSS...
Necromancer: The Cold fills you. Can you feel it twisting your soul...?
Drakath: YES... AND I LIKE IT.

Monsters[]

In the quest, four monsters under one of the following categories had to be fought. It was later changed to six, however.

ZardMaster's forces[]

After 1,000,000 monsters were defeated, a level-scaled ZardMaster (50) was revealed as the Boss.


Drakonnas' forces[]

After 170,000 monsters were defeated, a level-scaled Drakonnas (40) was revealed as the Boss.


Nepto's forces[]

After 120,000 monsters were defeated, a level-scaled Nepto (60) was revealed as the Boss.


Calladus' forces[]

After 120,000 monsters were defeated, a level-scaled Calladus, Dragon Master (50) was revealed as the Boss.


Jack Frost's forces[]

After 100,000 monsters were defeated, a level-scaled Jack Frost (50) was revealed as the Boss.


Drakonnan II's forces[]

After 100,000 monsters were defeated, a level-scaled Drakonnan II (40) was revealed as the Boss.


Sila's forces[]

After 100,000 monsters were defeated, a level-scaled Sila (39) was revealed as the Boss.


Dark forces[]

For the final Boss, 150,000 monsters has to be defeated.
