The Sea Fiend! is the updated version of the quest of the same name and the continuation to the Rare quest Something is Fishy in Lolosia..... It merged both quests into one, and was made available through Captain Frolgar.

Dialogue[]

After hearing reports of sea monsters just offshore of the port town of Lolosia, many traveled there to investigate for themselves. The reports were true, and the large number of new visitors seems to have angered the sea monster!

«Scene: Lolosia.»

Capt. Frolgar: Ahoy! Are ye here to scan the sea for signs of the sea monster??

  • Aye!


The scene zooms past Capt. Frolgar to the sea, revealing a very small portion of the sea monster across the surface of the sea before descending to the depths. It's time to go out to sea on the dinghy!

Sea Fiend (Top)

Capt. Frolgar: Ahoy! So, matey, what happened to ye out there??
 · I found the monster!
Capt. Frolgar: Aye-- and what did ye do then??
 · I fought it!
Capt. Frolgar: HAHA!! And did ye kill it?
 · Uh... no...
Capt. Frolgar: Ye didn't kill it?? Well, did it at least swim far away from here never to return again??
 · I don't know...
Capt. Frolgar: Well, let's just hope that you didn't just make it angry!
 · I hope so

You receive a Full Heal. In the background, the boat that is originally docked instantly gets destroyed, and from the depths of the sea rises the Sea Fiend, towering over all structures.

Capt. Frolgar: The giant sea monster is right behind me, isn't it?
 · Yes, it is
Capt. Frolgar: Well, what are ye standin' there for??? RUN!!!!!
 · RUN!!!!

Most Lolosians are able to run inland and escape the monster's attack. When you return, you find the town in ruins...

«Scene: Lolosia's devastation.»

Capt. Frolgar: The town is in ruins!! Well, if that sea fiend is looking fer trouble, he found it!
 · What about Lolosia?
Capt. Frolgar: Someone else can rebuild this town! My job is to hunt that monster down, to farthest reaches and the darkest depth!!
 · Can I help?
Capt. Frolgar: Aye! I will let ye know when the time is right!

Capt. Frolgar leaves the scene. Zooming to the sea, in the dark depths, the Sea Fiend meets with Aquella.

Aquella: Thefarus!! Do you realize what you just did??
Thefarus: ..........
I WAS ATTACKED! WHAT CHOICE HAD I?
Aquella: You were only supposed to scare them-- not start war!!
Thefarus: IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST SEEING A MONSTER TO BE AFRAID OF IT, WATER ELF.
Aquella: They will come hunting for you now... If they find out it was I who brought you here, I will be banished... or worse...
Thefarus: THEY WILL NOT FIND YOU. THEY WILL ONLY FIND WHAT I WANT THEM TO. AND I PROMISE YOU, THEY WILL BE AFRAID. THIS LAND WILL BELONG TO THE WATER ELF AGAIN, AND NO ONE ELSE.
Aquella: Promise me you won't kill any of them... please!
Thefarus: HAHA, HOW CAN THEY FEAR ME IF NONE OF THEM DIE?
Aquella: !!! You must go back now, leave this place!! You have done enough and I do not need you any longer!
Thefarus: I AM SORRY, BUT THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS. I AM HERE, AND I WILL DO WHAT I WANT TO DO. AND YOU, MY SISTER, CAN DO NOTHING TO STOP ME. YOUR HEART WAS IN THE RIGHT PLACE, BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE THE WILL POWER TO DO WHAT MUST BE DONE!

Thefarus grabs Aquella with his large claw.

Thefarus: UNFORTUNATELY, YOU CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO GET IN MY WAY...
Aquella: !!!

War!
The Sea Fiend
A giant sea monster appeared off the coast of the peaceful seafaring town of Lolosia. As soon as we went to investigate it, the monster rose from the ocean and leveled the town! Mysteriously, the water elf Aquella disappeared at almost the same time. Now an army of water creatures controlled by the Sea Fiend is attacking!

Twilly: Oh no's!! The big sea monster really messed up the town!! Can you help stop him before he strikes again??

You meet with Aquella.

Aquella: Thank you for driving the monster back! I was able to escape his grasp. So the Sea Fiend captured you?
Aquella: Yes, that's why I have been missing lately. I wasn't worried about him harming me though--
 · Why weren't you worried?
Aquella: The Sea Fiend is actually my brother, Thefarus.
 · ???
Aquella: Thefarus was a water elf, like myself, but made a pact with the Water Lord long ago. He traded his Elven heritage for great power...
Aquella: But the power transformed him into the giant water demon you call the Sea Fiend! But why is he attacking now?
Aquella: It is MY FAULT. For a while, the increasing population of humans in the Water Elf territories has been threatening my people's environment. So-- I-- I asked him to scare you.
 · Double ???
Aquella: Thefarus had other plans all along though. He has cloned himself, and the young Sea Fiends are meant to colonize the land! We have to stop him. Would you like me to fight him with you?

  • Yes! - Aquella joins you as a guest
  • No thanks

 · Oh, before I forget, how is it that you can hear my thoughts?
Aquella: We Water Elves are telepathic. It also helps us communicate with sea creatures.

  • Okay! Let's fight that Fiend!

Capt. Rhubarb: Yarr!! Thank ye for saving Aquella! My darling-- I mean, my dear friend truly regrets what came to pass because of her actions.
Mercuria: If it was up to me, Aquella would stand trial for what she caused! Just like all Water Elves, she could not see the possible dire consequences of her actions.
Vince: You're just jealous.
Capt. Rhubarb: Now, now, Vince... don't play with fire...
Mercuria: *rolls eyes*

Capt. Frolgar: Ahoy! Ye seem to have come unscathed from this fiasco, though I haven't! ANOTHER sea monster took ANOTHER one of me body parts!! This is gettin' ta be ridiculous!!
